Artist Statement

My newest body of hand-embroidered work, like life, is about a collection of many moments.  Joy, frustration, sadness, contentment…these emotions and many others are recorded in layers of embroidery on my hand-dyed fabric.  Even the threads that I have sewn and removed are a reminder of how I experience the world and how it moves me.
